Cleaning your car’s rims can be a time-consuming task, but with the right tools, it can be made much easier. Detailing brushes and wheel rim brushes are two of the best tools you can use to clean your wheel trim and rims.
Here’s how to use them:
First, rinse the rims thoroughly with water to remove any loose dirt and debris. Then apply a rim cleaner to the rim and allow it to sit for a few minutes. But be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the product label, so avoid any mistakes that lead to damage to the surface of the car. Using a detailing brush to clean wheel surfaces under cleaner sit, will be helpful for cleaning surface corners, dirt will be removed quickly.
Using a detailing brush, scrub the face of the rim and working from the top to down. Use a back-and-forth motion to loosen any dirt and grime. But be sure to pay special attention to the crevices and hard-to-reach areas, have to clean several times.
Once you’ve cleaned the face of the rim and move on to the spokes. Use a wheel rim brush to clean between the spokes. The wheel rim brush should be small enough to fit into tight spaces but sturdy enough to scrub away dirt and grime. Different wheel rims sizes are different, so there are 7cm and 10cm out diameter wheel rim brushes available. We can bend the wheel rim brush top to clean rim tight hidden corners.
After you’ve cleaned the spokes, then use a detailing brush to clean the lug nuts and the wheel hub. The detailing brush bristles better long enough to clean lug nuts. Rinse the rim thoroughly with water to remove any remaining cleaner and dirt.
Dry the rim with a clean microfiber towel to prevent water spots. High absorption towel will be better to dry every small water. If want much better, can coat or wax the wheels and rims so more durable and effectively.
By following these steps, you can effectively clean your rims with detailing brushes and wheel rim brushes, leaving them looking shiny and new.
